Peskesi is a restaurant of traditional Cretan cuisine in the heart of the city of Heraklion. The restored historical mansion of Captain Polyxingis, a unique place that emerges with peace and intimacy, has been reformed into a welcoming restaurant full of aromas and flavours remaining “engraved” in memory.
At Peskesi restaurant, we offer an integrated experience, not limited to the sense of taste. Our goal is to convey to our visitors the whole philosophy of the Cretan tradition while promoting the principles of sustainable gastronomy.
Our dishes result from many years of research that we carry out to this day, looking for traditional Cretan recipes and forgotten raw materials hidden in time. Enjoy every and all day an experience that triggers emotions.
